4 DAYS IN LVIV

Upon arrival, you will be met by your Next Stop Ukraine guide at the airport and chauffeured to your centrally located hotel. Check-in.

After some time to rest and unpack your suitcases, your guide we’ll show you around and give you a bunch of local insider information on the best souvenir stores, local restaurants with the most delicious food, and show you places to exchange money as well as ATMs!

Free evening at leisure.

In the morning, enjoy a combined guided tour (bus + walking) to see the most important cathedrals in the old town. Besides the religious side of the city, we’ll also reveal its historical and romantic sides, showing you around the most interesting sights, making you completely fall in love with Lviv’s atmosphere!

During this tour, we will also stop to explore Shevchenkivskyi Hai, an ethnographic Open-Air Museum of folk architecture and rural life that recreates the traditional atmosphere and the household of villages from different regions around Western Ukraine. You will be able to stroll through the paths of this village museum, contemplating life in these old Ukrainian houses, cozy yards, and wooden churches.

Afterwards, we will head for lunch in one of the most famous and most visited restaurants in the city – Kryivka, buried in the subterranean vaults of Ploshcha Rynok and designed to look like an underground bunker.

Then you may take advantage of shopping in the city – there are numerous souvenir stores, and an open-air craft market Vernissage, which offers a variety of artwork, embroidered blouses, woodcarving and more! You are sure to bring back more than fond memories from Lviv! If necessary, your guide will gladly help you with optional suggestions according to your interests.

After breakfast, you’ll get to know why Lviv is called the ‘The City of Coffee’ by drinking fragrant coffee in one of the most unique coffee shops in the city. It’ll be quite a surprise! Learn about the history, listen to the legends, and enjoy the aromas of fresh ground coffee with a piece of traditional Lviv cheesecake.

Moving forward, we will pay a visit to the Lviv Opera House to see the stunning interiors. Located in the heart of the historical center, Lviv Opera is one of the most beautiful and magnificent opera houses in Europe. When you look at the stunning facade, exquisite stucco molding, gilded interior, you can only imagine, how long and complicated its history is.

It’s time to move further from the city center to another nor less interesting place – High Castle Hill (Vysokyi Zamok) – formerly the site of the Lviv Castle, and now – an observation deck, perfect for scenic panoramic photos. It’s a place with a special energy that allows you to look at the grandeur of the city from the bird’s-eye view.
We’ll then get back to the city center. Enjoy some free time at leisure. Your guide will recommend nice restaurants for lunch.

This evening, to wrap up your tour in Lviv, we will get together in Lviv Pravda Beer Theatre that produces its own craft beer, with unique style, properly recognized all over the world. There we won’t only taste the beer (2 glasses of beer per person), but also have a delicious dinner.

After a free morning to stock up on souvenirs we will transfer you to the airport where, sadly, we will have to say our goodbyes! Thank you for travelling with Next Stop Ukraine!
