Millions of Ukrainians live throughout the world and maintain their connection with their roots through the performing arts. The International Ukrainian Dance & Culture Festival (IUDCF) is an opportunity for Ukrainian dancers & performers from around the world to share their passion for Ukrainian dance with each other and others from all corners of the Earth.
IUDCF takes place in the magical city of Lviv, Ukraine – a real life wonderland, which everyone should visit at least once!
Every year, we want to feature not just the talent from around the world of Ukrainian diaspora, but also the truly amazing ensembles from around Ukraine!

Ticket to Opening Ceremonies & Private Concert by the Festival Host Group
Morning Workshops (Choral and Dance)
Performance in Rynok Square
Zabava featuring Ukrainian and International Bands, and Hors d’oeuvres
Commemorative walk dedicated to Ukrainians around the world
Lunch & Group Photoshoots
Performance in Shevchenkivsky Hai (incl. entrance ticket to museum grounds)
Gala Performance & Closing Ceremony at the Lviv Opera House

All participants will have 3 chances to perform at the Festival
August 15 – Lviv City Centre
Each group will be able to perform 2 dances for other festival participants and guests to the city to enjoy.
August 16 – Shevchenkivsky Hai Open Air Museum
Participants will have at least 20 minutes of programming of their choosing. Throughout the day Festival organizers will pick out the best productions to be performed at the Gala Concert.
Arts and crafts, snacks, tours and appearances from guest performers will be available throughout the day. This will be an all day extravaganza!
August 17 – Theatre in Lviv City Centre
The best and favourite pieces picked out by the Festival Jury will be showcased once again at the Festival Gala Concert and Closing Ceremonies.
